Go time! We are super excited to be teaming up for Big Freeze 10 to beat the Beast that is MND.
Why we go again... When we are up against it, it is the strength of the team that allows us to move forward. And it’s in these moments of fight, that we discover the true measure of our collective power.
This fight needs everyone playing in harmony, as a team. Not just those who are directly involved like those fighting the disease on the field, the doctors, the specialist, the therapists. Its everyone off the field too; you, me, your mates, your Clubs, everyone. Once again, all of East Gippsland is teaming up to Fight MND and we thank you.
The players will also pull up their socks and Sockit2MND. Our sliders have done an enormous job fundraising. We’re well on our way to our target of $100,000 and we thank you for your generosity & support in reaching that target today. All funds raised go to vital & urgent research to find effective treatments and a cure for MND. Actions speak louder than words. Visit the QR link on this page to help us fight MND.

HUGE Congratulations to Ricky Tatnell who plays his 100th senior game today. A 2016 3rds premiership player, Ricky’s taken on the challenge that is the Gippsland League each season without hesitation. He knows what it takes to contest and the extra that is needed to win. He loves a leap, (even those unrealistic ones 😉) and the chance of a big grab. We hope we get to see one today.
Kings Birthday holiday Monday, we’re hosting the Dahlsens Gippsland Allstars with the best U13, 14 & 15 competing. The revamped Peppercorn Park will host 2 U13’s games as its first taste of footy action. Our team Eastern are taking on Latrobe and we wish them well especially our Junior Redlegs who are taking part.

Today we welcome Sale to the City Oval. The Magpies are strong supporters of the event and we thank them for their involvement today.
Amongst all the hoopla, we have some VERY important games of footy & netball…. the Dahlsens Cup is on the line plus a whole lot more than that in the context of the season. Our netballers are on a roll, highlighted by a great win by A Grade last week. At the footy we been a bit up & down with our 16’s our only winners last week. All teams need to be 100% from start to finish if we want to get over the top of our opponents today. We’ve got what it takes. We can DO it.
