Speaking of special welcomes….. How ‘bout that sun hey. It’s been hiding for a fair while and it was magnificent to see it taking centre stage earlier in the week. City Oval loved it too and looks all the better for it.
We’re half way through our 4 game sprint to the bye and after getting out of the blocks well a couple of weeks ago, our maximum velocity wasn’t quite fast enough last week. Today, we keep driving at top speed to get us in a strong position toward the tape. It’s not over yet.
After a thrilling draw last week our A Grade has a two point buffer in fifth and another monumental challenge today. They’re ready to go and your support on the sidelines could really make a difference. Game starts at 2:35pm. Our 1’s are 7&7 and sitting just outside the top 5 in 6th with 4 teams battling for 2 spots the heat is really on. We’ll need to be at our best from the outset today.

Congratulations to Hunter Cloak who notches up 100 Club games today, He’s been hard at it & in and under since his first game in 2016 and you can expect to see more of the same again today. Well done Hunter.
Whilst on the milestones, Randall Stewart plays his 50th senior game today after notching up his 100th cub game earlier in the season. He’s having a stellar season and we know when the whips are crackin’ he’ll be leading from the front again today.
In a big day of milestones, Ethan East plays senior game 100 for the Redlegs. Ruck contests are a tough gig and he takes a battering each week to give our onballers first use. Around the ground he loves a one hander and is arguably the King of the torp. Well done Easty. Go well.
