Grand Final day is an exciting day and even more-so if you’re part of it. Congratulations to the Clubs and their committees who are participating today. Well done also to Dan Heathcote and his team for a super GL season and a fantastic community finals series. Most importantly, from all of us at the Redlegs, all our best to the players today. Congratulations Archer Watt - Wilkinson Medalist, Gippsland League Thirds Best & Fairest. Archer has played a super season in the U18's. Coming back after an horrific facial injury in 2022, Archer has shown great courage & determination to regain his best form. Archer remains eligible for u18's next season however we have no doubt there's even bigger things to come for him in 2024 & beyond.
Well done & Thank you to Kelly Carstairs, our Joe Hutchison Memorial awardee in recognition of service. Kelly took up the challenge of all things apparel this season and, among other things, also stepped in for Karen when required.
Well done to Logan Austin & Will Mitchell on their selection in the Team of the Year. They’ve both been enormous for us this season and leading from the front. It is fitting they received League recognition for the same.

Matchday Volunteers are vital to playing. Team managers, runners, court supervisors, time keepers, interchange stewards, umpire escorts, first aid officers, trainers, boundary umpires, umpires, water carriers, gate keepers, canteen helpers, bar tenders, goal umpires & scorers. We had 13 teams participating in football & netball plus Auskick, Net-Set-Go. Our parents, supporters, sponsors, past players & committee are generous with their time & effort in covering all these roles and more. Thank you all.
Well done to all our players. Your commitment, persistence and willingness to Challenge Yourself is a credit to you. Great things can happen when you stay the full journey and build something together.
